I had an interesting thought last night. I know that people have been very successful on the Biggest Loser, but can you continue the same routine alone-absent of the trainers, strict food regimen, etc.
Of course money is a great motivator for staying on track, but is it enough to keep you interested and motivated in the long run? I believe that in the early stages it will definitely past the test, but I am not too sure about what it will do for the long hall.
If you are an emotional eater are a few confined months in weight loss camp enough?

It is written that it takes 7 days to form a habit. I think it may take more than 7 days for good eating and exercising habits but I do think that after a few months you can definitely begin to form better habits and maintain some of those habits. But, there's nothing like having a personal trainer and cook to help in the maintenance. I think that the Biggest Loser tries to give the contestants excercise and food choice knowledge but it in the end it is up to the individual to maintain their weight. More importantly, if the person can address the reasons that has led them to "eat-emotionally" then their chance of long term success is much better.
